Dr. Qaiser Malik - MSK Day

Dr. Malik is a Consultant MSK Radiologist whi is also level II trained in Cardiac CT. Dr. Malik leads the MSK Imaging Department of 25 Radiologists and 100 other staff at Basildon and Thurrock Hospital NHS Trust and has introduced many innovative treatment pathways, including PRP injections.

Dr. Malik is an executive committee member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologist and is on the Scientific Programme Committee of the Royal College of Radiologists.

Qaiser enjoys teaching and lectures extensively nationally and internationally and has organised many MSK study days to the Royal College of Radiologists. He is also an Honourary Senior Lecturer at UCL Medical School and was awarded the prestigious 'Top Teacher Award' in 2015 for his committment to teaching.

Dr. Balan Palaniappan - Abdominal Day One

Dr. Balan Palaniappan qualified in 1994 and is currently working in Cardiff at The Royal Glamorgan Hospital where he is the Clinical Director of Radiology.

Balan has a particular interest in Prostate MRI and has been involved with many different teaching activities for this topic and abdominal imaging more generally.

Dr. Niall Moore - Abdominal Day Two

Dr. Niall Moore is a Consultant Radiologist the Head of MRI Department at John Radcliffe Hospitals Trust in Oxford.

Dr. Sarah McWilliams - Breast Day

Dr. Sarah McWilliams is Lead Consultant Breast Radiologist and Senior Lecturer at Guys and St. Thomas' NHS Trust, London. In addition to this, she is an examiner for FRCR for The Royal College of Radiologists and a Member of the RCR Scientific Committee, responsible for organising scientific meetings for RCR.

Sarah set-up the Breast Unit at Guys and has run successful Breast Imaging course here and for RCR.

Sarah has a specialist interest in training and teaching, particularly in breast imaging and MRI and has been involved with delevoping innovative breast imaging techniques including MRI breast biopsy, tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced spectral mammography CESM and MRI ultrasound breast fusion.

Dr. Steve Connor - Skull Base, Head and Neck

Dr. Stephen Connor has been Consultant Neuroradiologist at King's College Hospital since 2001 and has also worked as a Consultant Head and Neck Radiologisr at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital since 2005. He is the lead Radiologist for maxillofacial, ENT and head and neck cancer at both.

Dr. Connor has written regional network diagnostic imaging guidelines for head and neck cancer and is the deputy editor for the journals 'Imaging and Neuroscience Imaging'.

Stephen is also an educational supervisor for the King's College Hospital radiology training programme and has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Conor also contributes to an expert panel, reviewing national head and neck imaging guidelines.
